Sometimes I wish
I hadn't said the things I did.
Shutting you out of my heart
While you desperatley tried to get in.

Sometimes my heart pains
Seeing you there
Ignoring me.
And my fingers ache
To talk to you.
Though my pride wins
And I turn away
As a tear slides down my cheek.

Sometimes I hear a song
That touches me
The way that you do.
I play it repeatedly
Just to feel close to you.

Sometimes I look to the east
And imagine you sleeping
Mouth open, body sprawled.
You breathing in sync with mine.

Sometimes I wish you hadn't left.

Sometimes I really miss you.
